Termin und Ort steht definitiv! 1-2 Wochen davor, nur Wochenende, Italian Open am Gardasee in Riva. Möglichkeit in Riva die Motten in die Kiste zu verpacken und von dort per LKW nach Sizilien transportieren zu lassen. Soll nur 100-150 Euro insgesamt für Hin -und Zurück kosten. Günstige Flüge nach Sizilien gibt es ab Euro 150.- Damit dürfte das Logistikproblem gelöst sein. Für Fragen bitte mich anrufen oder e-mailen. Grüße Carlo Das war die Nachricht von Luca Rizotti: Dear Presidents, thank You for confirming Sicily as location for the 2013 European Championship I kindly ask you to reply ASAP on the following 1) would you prefer to have the dates of the italian championship to be one week or two weeks before the european in Marsala? So 13-14 (with option of 12 too ) of April or 20-21 (with option of 19 ) ? the reply is important for the logistics i.e moving boats from around europe to garda and marsala. The thinking based on italian feedback is that there might be people preferring to use the boat to the very last moment ( thus avoiding the unconceivable of skipping a weekend of training) versus people that do not want to have practically 3 weekends in a row taken by sailing.... 2) I need to have the details of each country single point pick up address for finalizing the quotes ( yacht club / warehouse etc ) . At the moment, considering southampton, le havre , frankfurth and geneve we have a quote of approx 300 euro each boat. For Germany only ---> considering the size of country and spread of fleets please mention alternative for 1 single point or 2 points. 3) I also need to have a forecast of how many boats from each country, how many travelling in a box , how many could be dismantled for transport in a suitable manner, how many need to travel with wings on ( if any ) thank You all for a fast response!

Hallo Carlo, ich würde schon gerne hin. Wichtig für meine Planung ist aber wann genau die Italian Open stattfinden. Davon hängt unter Umständen ab ob ich zur EM kann. Gibt es dazu schon näheres von Luca? Grüße Gerold P.S.: Gibt es für die WM in Hawaii schon einen genaueren Termin?

Hallo Gerold, und auch für alle anderen interessierten Regattasegler. EM Sizilien steht. Auch der Transport in Kisten mit LKW für kleines Geld wird funktionieren. Neu ist, dass die Italian Open noch nicht fixiert ist und momentan auch ein Termin [b]nach[/b] der EM im Gespräch ist. Dazu gab es in den letzten Tagen europaweit heftigen email-Verkehr. So nach dem Motto: Alle Boote in Sizilien wieder in einen LKW packen und nach Riva fahren lassen. Dann eine oder 2 Wochen nach der EM alle nochmal in Riva, Gardasee treffen und danach die Boote mit nach Hause nehmen. Wäre dann natürlich eine schöne Italian Open mit großer Beteiligung. Gut fürs Image der Moth-Klasse in Italien. Sobald hier etwas endgültig steht, werde ich es Euch wissen lassen.
